Art and Design
From year 2, children benefit from lessons with a specialist subject teacher.
There are dedicated, well resourced areas for the delivery of Art and Design Technology, each providing the appropriate environment and ambience for expression.
The Art studio has an attached kiln room for pottery firing. The Design Technology room is spacious and well equipped with tools to work with a wide range of medium.
The efforts and achievements of pupils are celebrated and can be seen around the school. All pupils achieve a high standard in Art and many have prided themselves in success in the ‘Wales in Bloom’ competition which pupils enter annually.
