The Prep department serves pupils aged 7-11

At Rydal Penrhos Preparatory School, we strive to provide all pupils with a broad and balanced curriculum, generally following the National Curriculum for Wales and the standards set out by the DCSF in the Primary National Strategies.

The curriculum is linked to that of the senior school, to enable a smooth transition between the schools. From Year 3 onwards, Maths and English are taught as form subjects and all the others are taught by subject specialists.
