U9 Netball team take on The Firs

On Friday the 4th of November the under 9s netball team travelled to the Firs School. We lost the toss but got ready for the match, the whistle blew and off we went.
Unfortunately they scored but we soon came back into it. Our centre Savanna Dickens passed to Eve Perring who then passed to Anna Parry-Williams and things were looking good because Anna passed to Cerys Cuddihy who managed to score, making the score level at one all.
There were some good passes by the other team and they managed to score again. It was now our ball and there was some great passes by all the team but unfrouatnely they managed to grab the ball and that led to another score. It was their start but Ellie Rose managed to get the ball and pass it up to Anna but unfortunately they got the ball again and scored. After that they scored again twice. The score was 6-1 but luckily with some great passing Cerys managed to score again.
Niamh Cook managed to pick the ball up and started passing up the court and Savanna passed to Cerys who managed to score. It was the Firs ball and they passed it down and they had managed to score again. The whistle blew it was half time, we had a drink and Mrs Pyves gave us a pep talk and we went back on. We were ready, it was our start and we managed to pass really well and Ziraili Ulfin managed to pass to Cerys who scored. There were some great passes by Aimee Adey, Savanna, Eve, Anna, Ellie, Eleanor, Ziraili and Niamh that led to another score. The Firs managed to score another 3 times which gave them 11 goals but we did get another goal by Cerys. Thank you Mrs Pyves for taking us and well done to the team.
