Year 4 trip to Chester

Year 4 visited The Grosvenor Museum, Chester on Wednesday 24th November as part of their History topic on the Romans. We had a super day especially when we dressed up as Roman soldiers and paraded through the streets of Chester or Deva (as it was known) with our real life Roman soldier. We also had the opportunity to be history detectives when we handled real and replica Roman artefacts in a workshop with one of the Education Officers. Before returning home we explored the Roman galleries at the museum and found out even more about life at Deva in Roman times.
