Prep Religious Studies trip to St Asaph
On November 16 the Chaplain took Year 5 to St Asaph Cathedral as part of their course learning about the Bible. They saw one of only three surviving copies of William Morgan’s Welsh Bible of 1588 and learnt how it came to be made.
Many pupils also had a chance to dress up and pretend to be bishops, deans, canons and all sorts of other figures in church life. The organist gave a workshop too and we heard just how loud a sound 4 000 organ pipes can make. It was a splendid occasion!Revd Nick Sissons, Chaplain
