Fees and charges
Why investing in a Rydal Penrhos education for your child is the right choice

During his or her time at Rydal Penrhos Prep, your child will learn a musical instrument, speak a foreign language, conduct real science experiments (not just read about them in a text book), act in a play, perform in a concert and spend part of every day outside in the fresh air.By the time they leave aged 11, the vast majority of our pupils will substantially exceed the UK national average scores in English and Maths (the two subjects tested in national assessments).
They will also have had the opportunity to learn to sail, to play chess, to climb Snowdon, play competitive sport as part of a team and represent either their school or house. Many will have competed and triumphed at national level. They will also have had the chance to take part in lots of school trips and residential courses.
Because Rydal Penrhos is a Christian community with regular assemblies throughout the week, every pupil will have a well-developed sense of right and wrong, of respect and consideration for others. And because every pupil will have stood up and addressed that assembly at different times in their Rydal Penrhos career, they will be at ease with themselves and in front of others.
How does one school manage all of this? Well, we are in a wonderful location with outstanding facilities: we have acres of playing fields and woodland, a 25-metre swimming pool, tennis courts, all weather pitches, a fully-equipped science lab and library, a dedicated art room, a purpose built DT workshop and ICT suites.
But we also have the great teachers and willing pupils that transform a good education into a complete education.
We care about being as transparent as possible, and have chosen to post the school fees and charges on our website. These are applicable to UK and overseas pupils.
